Announcement - Easter 2021

Due to the pandemic this year's Easter Program of our Church has been readjusted, as follows:

1. Except for the Vespers and the Holy Liturgy of Basil the Great (9.00 am - 11.00 am), on Holy Thursday and Holy Saturday a special Holy Liturgy will take place early in the morning for our working parishioners, the Holy Gifts being available from 6.30 am to 12.00 pm the latest, to facilitate the flow of the people within our Church.

2. On Holy Friday, the Service of the Epitaphios will take place twice; the first one from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm and the second one from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm, the Church remaining closed for the necessary sanitation between the two services. You are kindly reminded that, due to the pandemic, there will be no Procession of the Epitaphios out of the Church.

3. On Holy Saturday, the Service of Pannychis (Good Word) and the Ceremony of our Lord's Resurrection will take place twice; the first one from 8.30 pm to 9.45 pm (without ensuing Matins and Holy Liturgy), and the second one from 11.15 pm to 12.15 am, followed by Matins and Holy Liturgy. The Church will remain closed for the necessary sanitation between the two services.

You are also kindly reminded that, in the Church, it is mandatory to keep the regulated social distancing, and always use your personal mask, unless you are medically exempted. Please follow the instructions of the Church Committee.

Finally, we jubilantly announce that, on Holy Thursday, His Eminence Nikitas, Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, will preside over the Service of our Lord's Passion (6.30 pm - 10.30 pm).

Happy Easter!
